Episode 069: Alyssa Scolari – Part 2 of 2

In today’s episode, which is part two of a two-part series, I speak with Alyssa Scolari. Alyssa is a speaker and psychotherapist, treating adults and adolescents with trauma and eating disorders out of her independent practice in NJ, accompanied by her therapy dog, Noel. In addition to her practice, Alyssa is also the host of the Light After Trauma podcast and blog, which is meant to be an informative, inspirational, and safe space for those looking for support and connection as they navigate the difficult, yet extremely rewarding journey of recovery. Alyssa is a trauma survivor herself and is in recovery after living with an eating disorder for nearly two decades.

Today, Alyssa shares from a different perspective. Alyssa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and shares her knowledge, insights and wisdom from a psychotherapist’s perspective.
