In today’s episode, which is part two of a two-part series, I speak with Jennifer Beck. Jennifer is a mom, wife, entrepreneur and eating disorder survivor. Jennifer now uses her experience and knowledge to promote Self-Centered Wellness, a philosophy of self-care that encourages people to come within to heal and find their wisdom, joy, authenticity and power. She is the CEO and co-founder of Jihi, a line of elevated essentials that support the journey of healing and wellness, helping the body and soul find balance and restoration from the inside out.
Today, Jennifer shares about her journey beyond eating disorder recovery – into meditation, into something she calls Self-Centred Wellness, which she has made her life’s work, and also into starting a business that offers beautiful products to help people deeply relax, nourish, and rejuvenate – mind, body, soul.
In today’s episode, Jen also mentions a couple of books that she’s found incredibly helpful. They are:
- Spiritual Amnesia, by Lauren Skye
- Eastern Body Western Mind, by Anodea Judith
- Flow, by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
