If your relationship with food, with your body, with yourself is shot, it can be challenging to even know where to begin to start to repair it.
My guess is that, if you’re like many women, you probably scan the internet – Google, Pinterest, Instagram – looking for inspiration and strategies for eating healthy, keeping fit, feeling good, and looking your best.
You might even get inspired and make a plan. You plan your menus and dedicate times to working out. You might even write affirmations on your bathroom mirror and repeat them each morning. And, you may go shopping and spend a little chunk of change to reinvigorate your wardrobe.
You’re set and ready to go! Life is about to change!!!
One day in and the world feels hopeless. Why do you even bother?
To make matters worse, you know your daughter is watching you and she’s starting to act like a mini you. 😲
NO!!!!! This is not the life you want for your daughter.
What’s a woman to do?
Well, what most people don’t tell you is that change is an inside job. Most people start with the external stuff and never even touch the inside stuff – but that’s where the gold is…and that’s where real transformation starts to happen.
When you start to initiate and then continue to build and nurture a relationship with yourself, your authentic self, the part of you that isn’t fearful of herself, then new behaviors begin to emerge and old patterns of behavior that no longer serve you begin to fall away.
I’ve experienced this first-hand.
Making changes to the external part of yourself takes great effort. And sometimes it feels like you’re white-knuckling it through every day. But when you get to know yourself and begin living from the heart, you feel more at ease and life starts to take on a whole new light.
So, where do you even begin? Start on the inside. You’re worth getting to know!
